"are you now or have you ever been...?"

"of course i've changed. my eyes have opened."

Having your own site means you can put up pretty much anything you want, whether it's pictures of your house, your favorite Firefly quotes, or the utterly inane details of your day-to-day life. Basically, it means you can post just about anything that catches your fancy. And if you think our site isn't just that, well, obviously you haven't surfed it much.

However, since we want someone to surf the site, much of the content is stuff that we think might be of interest to the people we know: pictures from our travels, movies we love, jokes we tell.

As much as the site is about us, though, we leave out a lot. Of course we do. You don't want to hear about everything and frankly, we don't want to tell you everything.

And that includes politics. It's a big part of who we are since we're very politically active, so it seems a little odd to completely leave that part of our life out of our website and our newsletter. Why? Well, as stated above, the content of this site is stuff we think other people would enjoy. Political stuff, in our experience, usually doesn't fall under that category. And really, if we wanted a political website, we'd create one. Hey, whaddya know? We did...they're called blogs!

So what do you care, right? Well, you probably don't. But we communicate regularly with other people who do. Somehow, we've become a regular information clearinghouse for all sorts of political and current events resources. And since we'd rather keep our blogs anonymous (hence their absence in the list below), our website is the perfect place for posting links of our daily required reading for the convenience of people who share our political lives and use us as an information resource.

In other words, this isn't necessarily for you. It isn't not for you, either, but it's targeted toward someone else. Which means you don't have to click on any of the links or agree with any of what we regularly read and recommend other people read or give a rat's ass about politics in general.

Of course, if you're curious, by all means, click away. Just don't say we didn't warn you.

we link. you decide.
